Congratulations on your 17th wedding anniversary and I wish you many more to come! Wing & I have just past our 29th anniversary. We all feel old and are very thankful that we are together. You are quite sentimental and have a good memory. I cannot recall some of them. Just out of curiosity, are you superstitious and believe that the #4 is bad luck? Is that why you did not spend it? In regards to my athletic record, please do not make a big fuss out of me being #1. There were many other people like Ellen Fu, Christine Chong, Elizabeth, Ronnie, Raymond, James, etc. who also deserve recognition for their participation and effort. You should mention these people as well as other members of the track & field team, we ALL helped win this championship for the class. I felt proud to be a part of 5Th and 4Th Arts, because the team spirit was excellent. We supported and helped one another. I remember when Ronnie Au saw me wearing my cheap rubber gym shoes in practice, and he let me wear his spikes to run our relays and individual finals. We went to King George V School's track to practice after school, and even sometimes on Saturdays. Sometimes we went to the horse track in Happy Valley to practice because it was more difficult to run in the loose dirt. It was a good way to build up our endurance. Our team took training seriously and wanted to be the best team in our form. All our effort paid off in the end. This is actually part of our history in KLC, it becomes irrelevant to us now, however, I hope that everyone still remember the team spirit we had and can apply it to whatever we do in life. ****************************************************** From CK I am a person who likes to keep things around, except money which I like to keep too, but could only say I have been poor to keep. The money was in US currency and so it was unique amongst other Hong Kong bank (cash) certificates that I received. So I put it aside in a photo album and it stays that way. I am not that superstitious for the $40.00, I think you mean it pronounces something bad in Cantonese. Not a trace of that thought was in my mind, since whenever I saw money coming into my pocket to pay the marriage expenses, I was too happy to reveal other things. It is then very lucky that so far I still can keep it. I mean I am still sufficient. November 9, 2007
